Easter

Jay enjoyed a fun Easter with his crazy cousins. Watch the trio on the piano. Ray Charles, eat your heart out...

Jay is doing all sort of silly things. In the car, he puts his Chim Chim on his head and says, "where'd he go?" (In Jayspeak). He also calls V "V". We have lost track of the silly things he does daily.

Jay in a New Way, on a Big Day

Jay on a historical day!

Jay can recognize letters. Jennifer was reading a book of letters; Jay went and got a matching letter, turned the book back two pages to matched the two letters.

Jay has caught on to Jennifer's attempts to put hydrogen peroxide in his ear (to dissolve ear wax) while sleeping. After Jennifer did it the other night, Jay up and resounding announced, "Bye." (read: "Leave me alone while I am sleeping, woman.")

Jay can sit on top of his chair on his legs (no picture of this grand feat).

Jay can also manipulate weather satellites to cause world chaos (just kidding).

Snow Day Way of Jay

We have a snow day today!

Jay is very in to climbing these days. He likes to stand on his little red chair, the dishwasher, the dogs. He is very pleased with this new found ability. We believe--and fear--that some day we will find him standing on his new horse.

Ah yes, the adventures of parenting.

The Way of Jay Today

Jay is a very happy boy. He can do many exciting things these days:

**Say "hello" while holding a Blackberry to his ear (albeit upside down)

**Take pieces from a toy from one room to the toy in another room

**Move puppet's arms on his own

**Wave & say bye bye

**Blow kisses

**Walk halfway up the slide (see video)

**Say "ball", "dog" & several other words

**Recognize family friends

**Clear a table of toys (not necessarily a desired trait, but we'll take it)

**Crawl backwards

**Ride V for about 5 seconds

**Update his own Facebook page (just kidding)

Holiday Fun

Baltimore Visit

This past weekend Jay got to visit our family in Baltimore: his cousins Leah and Sam, and his Aunt Kate and Uncle John.

If one baa baa is good, then two baa baas must be better. It only makes sense.

Today, harmonica and some leggos. Tomorrow, world domination.

Jay doesn't sweat gas prices. Leah will push him around.
